First - David did not supply the sources for his msg. As I read his
msg, he got the data from the URL address he referenced.
Second - none of us are 100% sure of anything to do with genealogy. We
can only go by source data we see. If I see source data in one of my
books that contradict something I see from someone else, I question it.
Doesn't mean I or the other person are 100% accurate but bears looking
into.
Third - The sources mentioned are very lacking in enough data, to go find
them. What Spencer Genealogy...I've read a few. What CASE book...I have
a few of those.
Fourth - Agnes Harris's parents were Bartholomew HARRIS & Elizabeth
COLLAMORE. I show this line back several generations. Source for
'some' of this from "Mary & John Passengers - The Royal Line of
Agnes Harris". Also "Ancestral Roots of 60 Colonists". If you want
the author of these books, I'll have to look them up.
Fifth - Your reply suggests a hint of sarcasm that is not necessary.
I have approx. 62,000 names in my databases and have been doing
this "hobby" for 20 yrs. My aim is to help others, hoping in return I'll
find a snatch of data to add to my own line. My data is only as good
as that given me, whether by other researchers or by sources I read.

please enlighten me as to why your sources would then
be unimpeachable as opposed to his?
The only way any of us can be sure 100% of our
ancestry is to build a time machine and go follow our
ancestors around in some cases, pun intended. There
are so many gaps in records at times, so many
interpretations of things, name changes, unrecorded
marriages, unrecorded births.
All sources of information should be given equal
considerstion unless one has first-hand knowledge that
it is incorrect, and none of us is old enough to have
been there to witness John Case get on that boat to
see what named he signed under. For that matter, if
John Case is not John Casson, who says the John Case
you are looking to even came to America? Perhaps it's
the wrong person altogether.
What I do know is that my GGGrandfather on one side
just up and changed his name one day because he didn't
want to be associated with his father. Things like
that happen, we cannot avoid them.
So, please, if you have 100% accurate accounting of
your side of the story, then pass it on with sources
so we can all be as enlightened, if not, please LOOK
BEFORE YOU REAP.
