The Ruth Cost Duncan manuscript entitled, "JOhn Case and his Descendants"
has a forward which reads, "Some of the material used in this book was taken
from the unpublished manuscript that was compiled by
Dr. Erastus E. Case. Permission to use this material was granted by the
Connecticut Historical Societyh for which I am grateful."
Thre are far too many J.P. Case's in that manuscript to seek more useful
info for you without more info. Can you supply a spouse's name, approx.
birth date, or similar for J.P. Case?
God Bless! Bob boblin(a)bright.net

Subject: Dr. Erastus E. Case
I have the original copy of a short letter from a Dr. Erastus E. Case
of
Hartford, Conn, dated "7, 8, "08" addressed to my grandfather J. H. Case
requesting his assistance by filling out and returning a questionaire on
the Case Family in the Sadler, TX area.
Does anyone know anything about this questionaire and the "history" Dr.
Case was working on and if they did in fact receive information back from
J. H. Case of Sadler, Texas.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
