Several years ago, I read in a source that I can no longer remember, that
there was a branch of the Case Family in New York/ Connecticut, that had
been British Loyalist during the Revolutionary War. After the fighting
ceased, these Case's chose to go to Canada rather than stay in the new,
non-British country. Sure wish I could remember the source.
