I've "rescued" an old photograph of Minnie E. WILLIAMS which was taken at
the Brown Studio in Marshalltown, Iowa. The photograph is dated 1892 and
notes that Minnie is 25 years old at that time. Based on limited research I
was able to locate the following information regarding Minnie and her
family:
Mary Elizabeth WILLIAMS was b. 16 Dec 1867 in Delavan, WI to parents Robert
Henry WILLIAMS (b. 30 Aug 1840 in Earlville, NY) and Elizabeth GOFF (b. 7
Jul 1841 in Delavan, WI). The couple had four children including Mary
Elizabeth; Margaret Irene; Robert Marcellus; and Richard Leroy WILLIAMS all
born in Marshalltown, IA. The family moved to Pasadena, CA in 1886.
Mary married Arthur Buckner CASE (b. 24 Sept 1861 in Adel, IA) on 29 Jul
1896 in CA and together they had a son, Harold Arthur CASE. Minnie and her
husband moved to Somerton, AZ in 1898 where she became the Postmaster for
Yuma. In 1904 the couple returned to Pasadena, CA. Mary died in Pasadena, CA
on 9 Dec 1961 and is buried at the Mountain View Cemetery in Altadena, CA.
Census records provide the following information:
1870 census of Marshalltown, IA:

I am hoping to locate someone from the family, so that this wonderful old
photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of
this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
