I've discovered that my system has been infected by the W32.BadTrans.B@mm virus.
I've dealt with the issue. However, I would like to apologize to anyone that may have
received an infected email from me today. I have no clue how I became infected. I
don't open unsolicited attachments. I received a suspicious email earlier this week
that didn't contain an attachment, but threw my computer into fits. I updated my
virus program, and ran a scan, and it came back clean at that time. Then today I received
another suspicious email from the Smith mail list, with an attachment. I simply deleted
it without opening it. However, I always have the Preview Pane open in Outlook, and
perhaps this is somehow the problem. So, I've now disabled the Preview Pane, done
another virus scan, and deleted the offending files. My apologies to anyone who may have
had problems caused by this. Be careful out there.
