Looking for parents of Elijah Case who enlisted in the Revolutionary War
from New Jersey. Was living in Elizabetown, NJ. Wife was Phoebe Williams.
Moved to New York circa 1800.
Elijah had children Ebenezer, Stephen (b. May 1, 1770-1772 (?)d. Phelps,
Ontario Co, N.Y June 2, 1831) , Caleb (b. april 16, 1774) , Joseph, Elijah
(October 18, 1776), Israel, Samuel, Johannes, Sarah, Phoebe
Any help would be appreciated. Been searching over ten years for this our
line.

Hi Janie,
From reading the list of names, its possible there may be a connection
but I've not documented my line quite as far back as you. The farthest
back I can swear to is Adam Case married Elizabeth Obdycke in 1798 at
Baptistown NJ. They had children: Adam, Sarah, Samuel and Elijah (who
had a dau Phebe)and came to Ohio about 1814.
I know Elizabeth came from the Amwell area and Adam supposedly from the
Hunterdon County area.
