Dear listers
As I see it thre are three choices available to those seeking info from the 1901 census,
please correct me if I am wrong.
1. Wait for public access to the on-line version of the 1901 census.
2. Visit your nearest selected public library or record office where the 1901 on line
census has been made available for a one hour search.
3. Visit your local library/record office where the microfiche version of the 1901 census
returns are now available.
Using this method you can do look ups foryourself and for other people in return for
others undertaking look-ups for you in their localities. Please suggest a street and
place and the appropriate piece number which is available from the
pro.gov website.
At this time the 3rd method is quite a good one. Ihave done some look ups in the 1901
Stockport & City of Manchester for others.
