send for a recent DAR application of a woman who joined on his service. The
cost is $5. Address your request to the NSDAR office of the Registrar
General, Attn. Record Copy 1776 D Street NW, Washington, D.C. 2006-5303. Make
check payable to the Treasurer General, NSDAR. When writing for the
application give all of the Patriot Index information. A recent DAR
application should list the line of descent complete with birth, marriage and
death dates. It should cite the references used for service by Volume and
Page. Another set of books to look in for Rev. War Service is: White, Virgil
D., comp. Genealogical Abstracts of Revolutionary War pension files and
Abstracts of Revolutionary War Service Records (also compiled by White)

Duncan on page 13 as follows: Timothy Case (Richard) was born in 1711 in
Simsbury and died 1 April 1754. He married 25 Sept. 1730 in Simsbury (VR)
Sarah Holcomb, daughter of Nathaniel and Martha (Buell) Holcomb. Children
born in Simsbury (VR):
I. Philip b 12 Feb. 1731.2

Consult the Barber Index microfilm for VR information which will give
Volume and page number of the VR records are located in the Simsbury Town
Records. Order both microfilms from the local LDS Family History Center.
