It's been awhile since I have posted to the list, so, I, too, will try again.
Jeremiah Case b. N.Y. (according to census) abt. 1793. Married a Sarah "Sally"
Unknown but may have been Mason since a son was named Jeremiah Mason. They bought and
sold some land in Lyons, N.Y. and went on to Wayne Co. or else that part of Ontario Co.
was made into Wayne Co. I think they had more than the three children I know about who
were born in N.Y., but, when they patented land in Michigan, the three children were all
that were with them. Jeremiah was associated with grain milling and was trying to sell
his invention for better milling in Branch Co., MI in 1840 saying he had been in the
milling business for 30 years. Figuring from census this would be from the time he was
17. The family went from Branc Co., MI to Berrien Co., MI. Jeremiah died in Cleveland,
Ohio while enroute to N.Y. or Canada.
Thanks.
Betty
