Hello Edee,

Richard, s. John, of Simsbury, m. Ammi READE, d. Philip, of Concord, Sept.

Also, on p. 501, FIRST PURITAN SETTLERS OF THE COLONY OF CT. by Royal
Hinman, Mr. Hinman states that Richard (of Hartford) who m. Elizabeth
Purchase and removed to the east side of Conn. River in E. Hartford, 1669,
and his descendants are known as the East Hartford Cases. Richard, of
Hartford, and Richard, of Windsor, b. 1669, are, most likely, not the same

Subject: Re: source data for John & Sarah (Spencer) Case
I still disagree with JOHN & Sarah's son Richard being m. to
Elizabeth
PURCHASE. Questions:
1. Who m. Amy REED?
2. Richard s/o JOHN d. 1746?
3. Richard, the "relative" of JOHN d.30 Mar 1694, , who did he m.? I
have
Eliz. PURCHASE m. 17 Dec 1663 d/o John, stepdau of Nicholas PALMER.
His Will, found in Hartford Co. Records, indicates he left to his wf
Elizabeth,
who also received a small lot on the E. side of CT River which has
belonged
to her father John PURCHASE. Richard left 3 children Richard jr,
John,
Mary.
