Subject: [CASE mail list] 16th century Visitations - pedigrees
Has anyone yet viewed the Vistitation records from archive CDbooks?
These are records of pedigrees recorded by heralds when, during the 1500's
& 1600's, visiting each county noting down the pedigrees given by each
family encountered.
There is one for Norfolk in 1563, 1589 & 1613 which shoud cover AYLESHAM,
Norfolk - home of at least one CASE family.
Their web site is
www.archivecdbooks.org
I'm looking for one with my Dorset and other south west counties.
George

Please note - This digital cable Television system accepts text emails
but rejects
many other formats. It also adds the truncated original message
as an attachment when replying. It does not have a cut & paste or address
book. George
