Jan,
Do you know of any Charles Wesley Case in this Butler, Butler, etc. line? Or
maybe a Thomas Case in the line.... Perhaps Luzerne Co. PA? Or maybe
Washington Co. PA in about 1810 or so. My Charles was born 1800 to 1810. I
do not know where but he appears in Ohio marrying Matilda Jewell Davis in
1834 in Gallia County Ohio. The mother of Matilda was Mary Allison and was
born in Fayette, Pennsylvania January 1, 1789. I am having a terrible time
connecting Charles Wesley to his parents. I am guessing it might have been a
Thomas Case because Charles and Matilda named their first son Nehemiah
Thomas Case. The Nehemiah comes from her father, maybe the Thomas comes from
his? Quite a stretch but that I what I am reduced to checking out now.
I also know Charles and Matilda's children lived their younger years in the
area around Franklin, Illinois where Zophar Case lived. I think this Zophar
is a relative to the Meshack, Butler, Leonard Case people from PA.
Lloyd Allen Case

Jan - what is your Henry Case connection. I am trying to research our Case
line possibly back to that Henry. My brick wall is Joshua Case, born 1800
(some say 1801) in New Jersey or New York died
1874 in Luzerne County, PA.
Joanne in AZ (I seek dead people). Researching surnames: Case, Dancik,
Dashiell, Davenport, Davis, Harkness, Harris, Hoppe, Kocher, Lawson, Lewis, Meyer,
Prynn, Schwartz, Thomas, Von der Linden, Waller, Weaver, Woithe

You are coming throught to Michigan too, yes, has been a bit slow lately. I
think people are out and about doing things in yards, etc while weather
holds. We may get a few snow flurries here in Michigan this week but nothing
that will last.
