Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Some of this is difficult to read--this is for all the "Seperate Case fans."

Do you have any children for John Wanton Case? WE are looking for parents
of our gr-gr grandpa Andrew Jackson Case (who went by Jackson in his older
years) All we know is that Jackson's parents were born in MA and could read
and write. This was on a census record of Jackson talking about his
parents. But,..as we have come to find out census records wasn't always
right. I am corresponding with someone else who we believe is a decendant
of Jackson's sister. Jackson's older sister is named Independence Case.
she was born in 1828 and Jackson was born in 1830 in Randolph County, we
believe IL. Paula doesn't have anything on Independence's parents either.
But Independence's children's names are the same names (different children,
w/different birthday's) as Jackson's. So,...and the places Independence has
been fount is the same as Jackson. So,..we believe they are brother and
sister. So I was wondering if your John Wanton Case could be their dad?
Anyone with information please e-mail me at clinefam(a)yournet.com thanks!!
(By the way both Independence and Jackson has a son named John, of course
that was a popular name at that time.)

This is abnormal mail for me, and it is not exactly
genealogy related, but it is important, it was passed
to me at work and I felt the need to pass the info on.
If it bothers anyone, please delete it, but please
don't flood the lists with replies about it, reply to
me directly. Thanks all
Jim Williamson
We need those of you who are great at forwarding on
info with your e-mail
network. Please read and pass on.
It would be wonderful if 2000 were the year a cure for
breast cancer was
found!
This is one note I'll gladly pass on. The notion that
we could raise $16
million by buying a book of stamps is powerful!
As you may be aware, the US Postal Service recently
released its new "Fund
the Cure" stamp to help fund breast cancer research.
The stamp was
designed
by Ethel Kessler of Bethesda, Maryland. It is
important that we take a
stand
against this disease that kills and maims so many of
our mothers, sisters,
friends.
Instead of the normal $.33 for a stamp, this one costs
$.40. The additional
$.07 will go to breast cancer research. A "normal"
book costs $6.60. This
one is only $8.00. It takes a few minutes in line at
the Post Office and
means so much. If all stamps are sold, it will raise
an additional
$16,000,000 for this vital research.
Just as important as the money is our support. What a
statement it would
make if the stamp out sold the lottery this week.
What a statement it
would
make that we care. I urge each of you to do two
things TODAY:
1. Go out and purchase some of these stamps.
2. E-mail your friends to do the same.
Many of us know women and their families whose lives
are turned upside-down
by breast cancer. It takes so little to do so much in
this drive.

Roberta.....after looking at the page I think its ONE source with 2 Vols.
under that source:
National Society Women Descendants of the Ancient & Honorable Artillery Co.
with 2 books mentioned under that title:
History & Lineage Book II and Book III.
I have never seen this particular source in the library as I never looked.

My maternal great grandfather is William Jackson Case. His parents were
Emeline Elizabeth Didama Permelia Fletcher and James D. Case. They were
from Hendersonville, Henderson Co., NC. That was Buncomb Co. earlier. Have
you checked the Cases in that area. Seeing Jackson as a middle name caused
me to wonder if there could be a connection....Lois
<< The man(dad) Andrew Jackson Case was born in 1830 so give or take 10-15
years before his birth date or after his birthdate and that is probably
Sarah's date of birth. Any one with information please e-mail me at

Does anyone know anything about a lady named Sarah? We just had a family reuion and in talking with family, we have fount out that our great great grandpa had a wife naemd Sarah. But nothing else was known about her. If this was her middle name or first. She would have been born probaly betwen 1830- 1860,70. She married (or at least had a child with) Andrew Jackson Case who also went by Jackson Case on some of his records. They had a son named Andrew Jackson Case but no Jr. or II on the end. So I'm believing she knew her husband/boyfriend by the name of Jackson Case. In our records wev've fount he only went by Jackson in MO and AR. But that doesn't mean much, we don't have much on his earlier years. (I've posted a message about a week or so ago on his wives and children so if you're interested look back to find it) But the son Andrew Jackson Case went by Jack and he told his daughrter which in return told her daughter that his mother was named Sarah. So I was just wondering if anyone knew of her? The man(dad) Andrew Jackson Case was born in 1830 so give or take 10-15 years before his birth date or after his birthdate and that is probably Sarah's date of birth. Heres what I had on Delila--
She mar. Joseph Keith about 1825--according to these records. But it also
has her name and Joseph's again with the lettering "S" and I don't no what
that means--it was the year 1808--no county named .
Then theres a another Deila Case who mar. Isacc Reese Nov. 1805--in Bracken
Co Ky.
Also a Delia MCcoy Case who mar. George Carroll Cowles in Dec. of 1889 in
Pendleton or Butler Co.
I was going through some records I have for Bourbon county in the late
1700s--this is what I found--Mary Ann Case mar. Elisha Sidwell in Oct. 20,
1793. It was the only I had.
