Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Italian search - does anyone have computer address for "POINTers" which
is based in Palos Verdes, CA - by Tom Militello. I have his snailmail

Oops, sorry, I have been remiss in keeping members up to date on things.
That is my Case surname homepage, of which this mail list is a spinoff.

Many thanks in advance to you and Lori for all the time consuming work you
are putting in on this manuscript . I know it will be greatly appreciated by
all of the CASE list..Thanks again.

I have the subject copy of Ruth Cost Duncan's manuscript, which is titled
"JOHN CASE And His Descendants, Compiled by Ruth Cost Duncan, 1991." It is
256 pages long with an 8-page addendum. I am working with Lori to prepare it
for the Case Clearing House.
I scanned it in to my PC and spent many weeks fixing the mistakes made by the
OCR program. Then I got bogged down with the page numbers in the index.
Since no PC font can duplicate the one used by her publisher, many of the
page numbers referenced in the index are no longer correct. The editing is
tedious and mind-numbing.
I will keep Lori informed of my progress.

Some have been sending queries to me that do not include an appropriate
"Subject" or the subject entry is left blank. With all the viruses floating
around - I have made it a practice to not even read email if I don't think
it pertains to genealogy. So you if want my attention - make sure the
subject has something to do with genealogy. .........Thanx...........Edee

I missed whoever said they had or knew of, an additional 7 pages. I would
like to have those to add to the database - if they ever are available
without
getting the whole book. Been there, done that :-).

Edee I had copied the email address of the person that sent that

I believe it was Jerry that said he had another book by a Charles Case.

It will be placed on the Case Clearing House homepage. Format unknown at
this time. I am playing around with Adobe PDF, or maybe RFT or even just
zipped and made available.
Another option would be to have just a search engine available for
searching the text and then the text show if a hit. I really don't want
this format, since it is Ruth's hope that someone(s) carry on with
adding to her work.

Heads up you all!
The above virus comes across as a graphic. It may be a file called
look.exe.
IF you get this attached to an email, delete the post without opening
any of it.
You can read about it here copy and paste each line, until you have the

You just gave me the link I needed!! Just recently found out that the
father of my James Case I (I'm James Case V) was Joseph Case m. Sarah
Phillips in Warren County, OH. I guess we are related! This may be a
good time for you to run for the hills! Thanks for all of your wonderful
information!

Subject: Re: Knox County Indiana Case Family
I am searching for proof of the parentage of Joseph Case b. circa 1760 who
married Elizabeth and lived in Warren County, Ohio (1806-1810) and moved to
Knox County, Ind. by 1812. I have been told that his father was Butler
Case. Several of Joseph's children were born in Pennsylvania. Any help
will be appreciated. I am including a URL for my information on this
family.

Would you be willing to loan me the book? I can copy things free at the
historical society I volunteer at.

Dear Bethel,
Never heard of the book. Can you tell me more. I am interested too.
Janie.......I dont really know that much about the book as I have never seen
it....But two people that helped me with my line had gotten their information
from the book. Dont know if you saw the posting from Edeew99(a)aol.com but she
has the whole book in her database so if you have a specific question she
would be able to help you...she was most helpful to me.

Hello, Edee and other members of the Case Family,
I would be interested in the lineage from Joel back to John Case/
Sarah Spencer, if you would be so kind.
THANK YOU and GOD BLESS! Bob boblin(a)bright.net
