Sorry, but I have no idea where in Vermont - the "Vermont" has just recently
been uncovered through the 1900 census for Nathan's son Andrew - we have
always looked more at New York as a possible birth place but have to give the
VT a chance. Do you have any names in common with those I noted?

Where in Vermont? I have some Cases in Springfield, Windsor , VT ca 1764
Lisa Bishop (lbawel(a)aol.com)
I am searching for the parents of Nathan Case b~1792 in Vermont -
married to someone born in PA - son Andrew b. 1824 in Canada. We know
that Nathan was married to Catherine Gallinger b~1800 before 1830 so
are assuming that the wife born in PA died - Nathan's childrens' names
were Andrew b.1824, Patience b. 1829, Ephraim b. 1830, Sarah b. 1833,
Rachel b. 1832, George b. 1836, Hiram b. 1839 and James b. 1842. Andrew
moved from Ontario, Canada to Oshkosh, WI around 1860 and the Vermont/PA
birth places for his parents come from the 1900 WI census. Hope someone
out there has some Vermont Cases we can link to our Nathan.

One way is to place a minus sign in fron of search words...like Case
-court -equipment, etc
Another is to place a plus sign in front of search words... like Case
+family, etc

I have also become very frustrated with this problem. I admit to being so
discouraged, that I actually avoid working on my CASE line because of it.

A new virus, disguised as a Y2K fix, is spreading in what could be a
sign of Y2K-related pestilence to come. This latest outbreak, dubbed
W95.Babylonia, is disguised as a bug fix for Internet Relay Chat (MIRC)
users. When an infected user enters a MIRC chat room, they unleash the
virus to everyone else in that room. When executed, the Babylonia virus
checks with a Web site in Japan, where it can update itself with
malicious plug-ins that could destroy your data, or steal credit card
information. This is the second Y2K-related virus in a week, following
the appearance of the W32/Mypics.worm last Friday. Anti-virus experts
warn there will be more. <a

I need an answer to what may be a simple question, but never the less a
problem for me. In using various search engines, when putting in the
name"Case"--I get all sorts of "court case's " and etc--no familys. What's
the answer here for this name case? Is there a better way to do this that I
don't no. Is anyone else having this dilemma?

I have a program to test the Y2K compliancy of a system. If any of you
want it, I can send it.
http://www.nettally.com/jars/software/freewarey2k.html has a file
called Test2000.zip that tests your system also, and can help you
determine how to make it compliant.
