If anyone has this person in there family lines, they may want to contact
the following about purchasing photo for nominal fee.
Antique Family Photos
....by Ford and Nagle
Through a number of years, we have collected numerous antique photographs of
individuals and family groups. All these photographs were taken from the
Civil War period up to about 1910. All are original photographs; all have
somewhere on them data which identifies the individual or individuals in
each photograph. These are, for the most part, tintypes, cartes-de-visite,
or cabinet cards. Some are large group photographs. All are in the condition
in which they were obtained and have not been touched-up or repaired.
Below is a listing of individual photos contained in our catalogue of family
photography. Information about the individuals as noted on the photograph is
included. If you have an interest or see a name which might possibly be one
of your ancestors, you might consider obtaining it and putting it back in
your family where it belongs. The cost is nominal; please inquire. See our
main web page for our E-mail and regular mail addresses.

Searching for any information on Burton Lee Case born on March 12, 1865 in
Iowa, I believe. He died in Modesto, California on February 5, 1930, of
that I am sure. He had a Brother E. N Case that lived in San Leon, Texas in
1930. I have no idea what the initials stands for and can't find anything
on him so far. Burton Lee Case was married to a Lenna M. at the time of his
death. I believe this was his at least 2nd wife. With another wife, he had
at least 1 Son (Thomas Nathaniel Case). I can not find records on his birth
but, supposed to be on November 27, 1890 in Des Moines, Iowa but, no records
found. I would really appreciate any information on any of these people or
if they could suggest what I might do next for any more information. Burton
Lee Case is my Great-Grandfather. Thanks for any help you can give.
Sincerely, Lorene Case Wilkinson lorgen(a)interisland.net

Hi Laura,
So sorry but my Case family is mostly much earlier in Hartford, CT. I

that I knew had extensive CASE data and she was not there either. I
wish I could be of more help!
All the best,

Amy,
I found and copied portions of the following article about Henry CASE in THE
AMERICAN GENEALOGIST, Vol. 34, No.2, April 1958 THE CASE FAMILY OF
CONNECTICUT AND LONG ISLAND by George E. McCracken
Though their English origin is unknown, sufficient evidence has been
found to make
clear that some sort of relationship existed between Henry Case of Hartford
and Southold,
John Case of Maspeth Kills, Windsor and Simsbury, Richard Case of Hartford,
Thomas
Case and William Case, both of Newtown, Long Island. A court record connects
John
with Henry, a power of attorney with Thomas, while thomass will shows that
William
was his brother. As for Richard, both geographical proximity and nomenclature
connect
him with John. The five men were probably brothers.
A. Henry Case
......... A Henry Case was granted a lot at Southold, Long Island, on 15
Dec. 1658
(Southold Town Records). In the same year, also, the Southold Henry Case
married
Martha corwin, only daughter of Matthias Corwin, and when Henry Case died ca.
1665,
she married, second, Thomas Hutchinson. Henry Case bought land of Thomas Mapes
on 14 apr. 1659." The article goes on to say there was a son Henry who
married John Paine of Southold, possibly a son Theophilus and perhaps a
daughter Hannah. "This family can be traced further at Southold."
Hope this helps!

Hello All!
I'm looking for any information on John M. CASE b Oct. 1842 in Ohio
married 1894 Lucy C.. WILKINS. [ This may have been a second marriage
for him.] In 1900 they were living in Daviess Co, KY where he was a
manufacturer of mill machinery. Many years ago, my father told me John
M. Case was involved in the production of tractors. Both of his
parents were also born in Ohio.
Any information on these people will be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks so much!
