father was born in 1937 (James Curtis CASE, 1/8/37 in Colorado Springs, CO).
Thats as far back as I can get. Any leads would be appreciated.
Sincerely,

You never know what records you may come across on the US GenWeb project.
Each county has different data. I know you can search KY's death
records...which is wonderful!!!!! You might just try searching on the State
of Colorado's web site and go from there. Same with Arkansas.

Jody
Probably not so close, I am looking for CASEs in Colorado in the late 1800s
through early 1900's with not much luck. Hope you have better, I have found
that CASE is like looking for a needle in a hay stack.
Jody
I am searching for information on an Oscar Case born 3/15/1877 location
unknown, died 3/9/1950 in Decatur, AL. He was married to Ida Belle Weece
and had six children: Maude, James, Melvin, Mahlon, Corrine and Alma.
If anyone has information on any of the above I would appreciate hearing
from you.
Thanks,
Cathey
I am one of the Case's from Al. and TN. I have heard of Oscar all my
life..What is your relation to him? I have had a good deal of information
about him, just have to locate..
First time posted.
I haven't been able to find out much about my Canadian Case family.
Does anyone have a connection?
Thanks, Jack Brown.

The furthest we can trace our CASEs is to 1800, when they lived in
East Hartford, Connecticut, according to writeups in vanity-press
county histories of the late 19th century.
I always assumed this to mean the present-day city of East Hartford.
Now I'm beginning to wonder if they might not have come simply from
eastern Hartford County.
Comments from anyone more familiar with geographic references in
New England would be appreciated.

Hi,
I checked on the book that I found the info. in last week. This is the name
of it:
Genealogical Notes
First Settlers of Connecticut and Massachusetts
by (the late) Nathaniel Goodwin
Genealogical Publishing Co, Inc., Baltimore 1987
I have about 10 pages of it typed into a database, there are 25 pages on the
Case's in all. As soon as I am finished I will send it as a GEDCOM file. If
anyone wants a peek at it so far, I will send what I have done already.

I am just starting my work on the CASE line
in our family. Could someone recommend
resources which MIGHT connect to the
CASE's who lived in Whitehall, New
York.
I understand that they MIGHT connect to
a family from Connecticut.... ??
I have information on the family branch which
decended from Alfred Case in Gardner,
Massachusetts (late 1800's onward).
Alfred was rumored to have been born in
Whitehall (or alternately Troy on some
records) New York.
Thanks for any thoughts on direction...
Yours,
Barbara BarbMA(a)aol.com
I also am a descendant of the Henry Case m. Martha Corwin ......... I am also
interested in the "manuscript" ........does it have "tons" of info we can all
"drool" over ? lol ........Sharon
Barbara - I can send you a copy of the Case Manuscript from Case Western
Reserve - I got my copy from the Archive Dept of the University. I
offered copies here about two months ago. If you want a copy please
e-mail me your snail mail address to cemoore-houston(a)att.net
I will let you know the cost then. It is not expensive.

Hi, I have a real brick wall on my CASE line. Nancy Ann Case was b. c.
1808 in TN (I don't have a county). She listed her parents as f. - C. Case
(have heard his name was Caleb) m. - N. Case. She married Archibald F.
Crisp in 1824 and died in 1858 Caldwell Co., KY.
Does anyone have a Case family in TN that they are researching about 1808?
This is to close not to be able to track (I hope ;-).
Thanks
AmyAnn
