Still looking for any leads on my line from Arkansas.
My line goes something like this
Me: Jody M. CASE
Father: James C. CASE Born in Colorado 1/8/37
His father: Charles Curtis CASE born somewhere in Arkansas c. 1920 or there
abouts
Mother: Jean B. SMITH also born somewhere in Arkansas c. 1920 or there abouts
Iv'e been told that my paternal aunt did a family tree some years ago, and
that we are somehow related to Andrew Jackson, but that I find is a pretty
common ancestor to us CASEs so I don't know for sure and I have long since
lost contact with my fathers family so it will be hard to talk to anyone about
it.
If anyone has any leads on Charles or Jean, I would greatly appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Jody
I am looking for info on Lacy Case w/o George Davis Sr. I also have a Sophrina
Case w/o George Davis Jr. I am trying to connect the dots of this family line.
I know Charity Stevens Case was the mother of Lacy Case
from family records, but I have no records on their fathers, Any help
appreciated. I think the 1850's would fit with George Davis Jr. anf Sophrina
Case as my grandfather Charles Davis was born in 1870.

Mom has copies of records that some DAR ladies copied and compiled in Jan
1932 for Anderson Co., KY
I had all the Case info in a message to send, but had a problem and lost it.
I will get it from her again. But, the following two marriages were part
of the pages she had:
Separate Case m. Letty McKinney in ____1833
Separate Case m. Harriet Burgine in 1852. There were bondsmen
named, but that was lost in my message. The bondsmen were Separate Case Sr.
and __________ Burgine I believe. I just can't remember Burgine's first
name I also have part of a book entitled "History of Anderson County", by
Major Lewis W. McKee and Mrs. Lydia K. Bond The records were begun in 1844
by Major McKee and concluded in 1936 by Mrs. Bond. The part I have is about
Seperate Case and his son John Case among others. I am going to type it and
post it later.
Seperate Case and John are both descendants of ours.
She has lots of Case info., but isn't online yet. I hope to spend
summer with her in FL and get her online, but... She has had 3 eye surgeries
from end of Jan to mid-March, and on Friday found out that she will need
cataract surgery maybe in Aug. and later. The surgeries made cataract that
had started grow fast, and now it has a cataract started in other eye.
So...things are up in air. Any way, I will be in FL with all her records
for summer, and can send more then, as I am taking my computer and stuff
with me.
