Pauline Pollock
General Electric retiree
Pauline Pollock, 69, 92 Huss St., died at 10:15 p.m. Monday, May 10, 1999,
in Mercy
Hospital of Tiffin, where she had been a patient since Sunday
evening.
She was born June 11, 1929, in Green Springs, to the late Moses John and
Jenny Mae
(Swartz) Cascaden. On Aug. 9, 1947, in the parsonage of the First
Baptist Church, she married Edward Pollock, a Junior Home Kid. He survives.
Survivors also include: two daughters, Mrs. Ken (Carol Ann) Jordan of
Bellevue and
Mrs. Gary (Diana Mae) McCann of Tiffin; four grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren; three brothers, William Cascaden of Punta Gorda,
Fla., Merle Cascaden of Queen Creek, Ariz., and Jack Cascaden of Apache
Junction, Ariz.; and three sisters, Carolyn Neutzling of Middleport and
Winifred and Dolores.
A brother, John Cascaden, is deceased.
Mrs. Pollock, a 1947 Columbian High School graduate, retired from the Lead
Department at the General Electric.
A dedicated bingo player, she was a member of the GEWOTS.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Seneca Memory Gardens, with
Joe
Buckley, a friend from the Junior Home, officiating.
There will be no visitation. The Turner-Engle Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Junior Home War Memorial Park or the American
Heart
Fund.
