Mrs. R. B. Morrow Taken By Death
Mrs. Reginia Bost Morrow died at 1:30 this morning in Davis Hospital.
She was brought to the hospital at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in a
critical condition following a heart attack that she suffered in the
court room in Concord. She was attending Cabarrus county court at the
time.
Mrs. Morrow was born September 10, 1886, in Scotts community a daughter
of the late Mr. And Mrs. Jay Dagenhardt. She was married twice, first to
Mr. John H. Bost of the Shiloh community who died 14 years ago. There
were eight children by that marriage, John J. and J. C. Bost of
Statesville; Mrs. J. Q. Cascadden of Route 3; Mrs. J. H. Cascadden of
Route 2; Mrs. Earl Brown of Route 1; Mrs. G. S. Johnson of Siler City,
Route 2; Mrs. I. T. Smith, and Mrs. Henry Lowe of Greensboro. One
brother and one sister, Mr. Neil Dagenhardt of Route 1, Stony Point;
Mrs. Henry Sherrill, Route 2, Statesville. There are 22 grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.
Her second husband was Mr. W. M. Morrow of Ostwalt community. He died in
1946 and since his death Mrs. Morrow had lived with her daughter and
son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Q. Cascadden on Route 3. The body was
taken from the Bunch Funeral Home to the residence this afternoon and
the funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from
Bethlehem Methodist Church in the Shiloh Community, with Rev. C. C.
Holland, and Rev. J. S. Folger in charge and interment will be in the
church cemetery.
Mrs. Morrow was a life-long member of the Baptist church and held
membership in a Troutman church.
