To all Casazza listmembers
From Nancy C. Lieber
Hope everyone is well.
I am trying to put together a webpage of Casazza
information for New York State. I'm starting with the
1920 census, and will work backwards.
Will also eventually add whatever directory,
naturalization, etc, info I can get off films at LDS.
That type of info will concentrate on New York City.
Expect webpage to be up with 1920 info in 1 or 2
months (could be sooner, giving myself a little
leeway). Will post here and on message boards progess
regarding additional census and other additions.
Regarding the 1910 census, there has been no 1910
index for NY until last week. Heritage Quest came out
with an index CD, which I have ordered. The index
covers New York, Kings, Queens, Richmond, Nassau,
Suffolk. It does NOT cover the Bronx or upstate.
If anyone wants a lookup for 1910 will be glad to
look, as soon as CD comes in the mail.
Any new members please send ancestry info to
CASAZZA-L(a)rootsweb.com
The more info we exchange, the better our chances.
I must take a moment for a sad entry.
The name below appears on the
CNN.com list of victims
of the WTC attack.
If anyone is related to, or knows this man, I'm sure I
speak for all list members in saying, please accept
all of our heart-felt prayers and sympathy.
John F. Casazza, 38, Colts Neck, N.J.
Cantor Fitzgerald
Confirmed dead, World Trade Center, at/in building
