William Cary who was Killed at the Alamo was from the Thomas Cary line of
Maryland,
His Father was Moses of Maryland, We have never found why it says he was
from Virginia, there is a letter to his sister who was living In New Orleans
and he discribed what the Texas Army was doing. William was given land
bounty for his service and his father went to texas and sold it.
