The Virginia Cary's are from that "neck of the woods" in England. My brother
has visited our roots, but I haven't made it yet. I plan to go after I retire.

Hi,
I am a Cary descendent living in England. If you are visiting you absolutely
MUST visit Clovelly. It is so quaint and beautiful it brought a lump to my
throat when I realised this beautiful village that I have always loved since
I was a child was part of my heritage. Another absolute must for Cary
descencdents is the beautiful and historic village of Cockington. It is
situated about a mile and a half inland from Torquay in Devon. It too is
steeped in Cary family history, and they do lovely cream teas!! Enjoy your
trip.
