Ok, we'll try again for information on the Carys in Hamilton Co, Texas. Much thanks to Tealblue866(a)cs.com we know about GGGrandfather Rev. Robert Frank Carry b. 1864 and about most of his children, Hood Pervis Cary, R.J. Cary, Lula Cary, Frank Jr., Ida Cary, Ada Cary, J.H. Cary.
Anyone have anything new to add? We are especially interested in Harry Milton Cary, grandson of Rev. Robert Frank Cary, who married Irma Hahn from MN and migrated to CA.
Anyone know of this person? Email us at Stargift2000(a)msn.com
Hi all,
Have joined the list in the hope of finding some information concerning 'Dr'
Isaac Cary who married Osce Gray in Ohio.
Osce & children in Ohio, 1860. Can not find Isaac.
Their daughter Jane (Jennie) b. 4 Mar 1842, Warren Co, Ohio, married Alpheus
S. Barrett in Warren Co, Ohio, and their daughter Martha Cary Barrett (my
grandmother) was b. 22 Aug 1873 near Hinton, Iowa.
Anyone out there recognize these names?

It's been a while since I've seen this many Cary postings, so thought I'd throw out my same old cary question.
The 1850 Sevier Co., TN census lists the following family, their ages and state of birth. If anyone has any of these family members please contact me:
Carey, Benjamin age 53, VA
Carey, Candus age 48, KY
Carey, John age 26, KY
Carey, William H age 20, KY
Carey, Elizabeth age 18, KY
Carey, Martha age 16. KY
Carey, Nancy age 14, KY
Carey, James age 7, TN
Benjamin and Candus (Craig) were married in Wayne Co., KY in 1823. The name has also been spelled Caree, Cary, Carry and the above Carey.
Their son William H. was my gggrandfather. I am at a total loss other than these names.
Thanks for ANY help or leads.
Cindy S
Count me in! I would *love* to see these!
Thank you for your generous offer!

I am new to this list and to lists in general. Would anyone have an interest
in three letters I have just found in my great grandfather's records? They
are from William Cary (an officer of 13th Mass.) to his sisters in Durham,
Maine. In one, he talks about the battlefield at Bull Run after the
Confederates left it, the piles of bodies, the stench.
I can scan these letters if there is an interest.
