Hello,
I was wondering if any of the Carwile's on ancestry could help me find my seventh
great grandfathers name. All we know is what is "Three Carwile brothers came to
America from England in 1721. His brothers and sisters are unknown."
My sixth great grandfather was named Zachariah Carwile. He entered the Revolutionary War
at the start. He was about 26 years old. He fought battles in Virginia, Tennessee, and the
Carolina's. He fought in the battle of Kings Mountain, N.C and the Battle of Hog Skin
Creek near Spartansburg, S.C.. He lived to be 91 and has descendants throughout the South.
It would be fantastic to find a record or any information possible.
