Statement for settlement of Josiah N. CARWILE, a minor ward of Jno. S.
CARWILE. The guardian expects to leave the state and this settlement is in
order to transfer the funds. Addison F. CARWILE, a minor ward on 28 Nov 1850
received $125.85. Margaret Jane CARWILE now of age, 24 Nov 1855 appointed
her brother James CARWILE her guardian. Her father Josiah CRWILE deceased.
She lived in Lebanon, Dekalb County, Alabama. On 31 May 1845 Elizabeth
CARWILE appointed Jno. S. CARWILE guardian of her son Josiah N. CARWILE. On
08 Dec 1851 Madison M. CARWILE received $128.44. Milton S. CARWILE of age,
02 Jan 1854. In 1845 the 7 minors were: Candice C.; Sarah J.; Addison F.;
Madison M.; Milton S.; Margaret J.; and Josiah N. CARWILE. On 21 Mar 1848
Candice C. was wife of William C. GRAHAM.
NOTE: Some of these CARWILE children were also heirs of one John CALLAHAM,
whose will is in Box 141, Pack 3976 in Abbeville Co, SC.
