MARY EARLINE CARWILE
The Funeral for Mary Earline CARWILE, 81, of Athens, will be at 1:00
P.M. today at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Joel CARWILE officiating. Burial
will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
Mrs. CARWILE died Tuesday, October 29, 2002, at Athens-Limestone
Hospital.
She was born February 13, 1921, in Limestone County to James and
Myrtle Armstrong CARTER. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist
Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex CARWILE; two
brothers, Fred CARTER and Wesley CARTER; and one sister, Lorene MORAN.
She is survived by five sons, Allen CARWILE of Cullman, Ray CARWILE of
Elkmont, and Bobby CARWILE, Kenneth CARWILE and Glen CARWILE, all of Athens;
three daughters, Betty WALLACE and Dorothy PHILLIPS, both of Athens, and Ann
THORN of Elkmont; one sister, Irene GREGORY of Carthage, Tennessee; three
brothers, Charles CARTER, Roy CARTER and Henry CARTER, all of Athens; 21
Grandchildren, 20 Great-grandchildren, four Great-great-grandchildren and
several neices and nephews.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
