Meg:
Thank you for the Missouri CARWILE information you sent to me recently. It
had information in it that I did not have. If I get information on ONE
additional CARWILE from a new contact I consider it a complete success. I
will share my informtion with you in the future if you wish. I co-authored a
book/narrative on
"The Descendants of Jacob CARWILE, Sr" with Revely CARWILE of Campbell Co, VA
in 1996. It is indexed with over 1900 persons including 600+ CARWILES.
The following is a brief addition to your information. I will send you a
copy of my ancestry in a future e-mail message to be sent to the CARWILE-L
genealogy forum:

William CARWILE, dec'd, who was a brother of Zachariah CARWILE, dec'd.
Plaintifffs against: {In Chancery}
Thomas PUGH, Administrator of Zachariah CARWILE, dec'd, Defendant.

and we are not 100% sure this is a dau of William, BUT since there
were
no other CARWILE families in East TN at this time old enough to have
a
daughter this old we "THINK" this could be a dau of William. And
the fact
that Grainger Co, TN adjoins Jefferson Co, TN adds weight to this
notion.

I am stopping here because you have more information on the rest of the Osage
