My G-grandfather was born George B. Blevins to a woman named ____Emmaline Blevins Carvin.
I'm not sure whether she was born a Blevins or married one before the Carvin. She had
another Blevins son (Charles or Clyde?) and several Carvins.
My g-grandfather ran away at age 12, changed his last name to Hardin, lived with the
Hatfields, then married a woman named Mary S. Keys and settled in Bell County, KY. His
estrangement with his family has not been a subject of discussion in previous generations.
Now that they're all gone, I'm curious about it all. Does anyone have any
connections to Ms. Blevins-Carvin, born around 1860? (George was born in 1882, so I'm
estimating.)
Any info would be appreciated.
