Subject: Roanoke (Va.)--History
Held by Libraries: Christiansburg BLACKSBURG, FLOYD , VIRGINIA
I read this two years ago. Roanoke has a water reservoir named Carvin's Cove. It was
Carvin land. The book details how the Carvins were Scot-Irish, came to New Jersey in the
early-mid 1700s & how a group of them moved south. There are far more Carvins in the
South than North.
Perhaps your library can order this book, or they may have it?
I do hope you get some answers & clues from it.
