In the 1920 Census, there was a Charles C. Carver living at 2801 Elsinor
Avenue in Baltimore (Ward 15). Mapquest has this about 5.5. miles away from
Pikesville. He was 35 at the time (it looks like his wife's name was
Marian). His occupation was merchant, cotton duck(?).
They are still living there in the 1930 Census - - no children listed. His
occupation is given as mfr./merchant of tents and awnings. Charles' and
Marian's ages are given as 46 and 40, and it states that they were married
at the ages of 31 and 25, respectively, which would put the date of their
marriage at about 1915...
(I am not related to this family, as far as I know.)

Wendy Carver
