Dear Sheila:
Your Serena looks like one of the Carvers in my family. It was interesting
she was in Benton County. Some of Thomas' brother's (Ishmael's) family
were in Benton County Arkansas at one point (around the time of the Civil
War and the daughters for some time thereafter). What was Sarena's name
that she gave when she married William McClure?
Best Regards
Grady Loy

I'm new to the CARVER list and new to Carver research.
I am searching for information on Serena A. Carver, born abt 1850 in
Indiana. She is a daughter of Thomas and Sarah Carver, who were in
Mahaska County,
Iowa in 1860 and 1870. It appears that Serena married John T.
Prayle/Prail.
In 1880 they were all in Phillips County, Kansas.
I am trying to determine if this is the same Sarena who married William A.
McClure, and was in Benton County, Arkansas in 1900.
Thanks to any Carver researchers who might be able to help.
Sheila Stepko
