Patricia, it might not be such a long shot. I do know of an Alice Carver abt 1890's
(married to Jess Bliffin) that moved to California. Alice is the daughter of Alexander
Carver, son to Noah Carver. My grandfather was looking for them for quite some time.
Lynn, I am also a bit confused with Juliann's birthdate, therefore parents. The only
close factual(?) age that linked both Noah & her together was birth date abt. 1835.
The closest censuses to that date have her a "house girl" with Jacob H &
Catherine Stickley & anothe time with Lydia & William Stout.
The census that connects her to Ann & Alexander Miller (says she was 6 years old)
shows a 9 year difference between 1835 & the alleged 1844 on that census. I know not
to trust everything( being that they sometimes lie by 5 years), but a 9 year difference is
alot on a child.
So I am just wondering how you connected her with her parents. Hopefully you could shed
some light for me.
Any info would be greatly appreciated:)
