Fox Islands is the old name Vinalhaven and surrounding islands..., and they are in Knox
County, Maine, not Newfoundland.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vinalhaven
There is a location named Fox Islands in British Columbia, Canada, but that's the
opposite side of the country, not Newfoundland, Canada.

I have the book Vital Records of Vinalhaven, Knox County, Maine Prior to 1892 [Transcribed
by Elizabeth M. Mosher, published by Picton Press, Rockport, Maine; 1994).
P. 2 there is a "George B Carver, born Dec. 3d, 1848," last child of John Carver
on the list of offspring.
P. 155 is a marriage record for a "Mr. George S. Carver and Miss Elmira S. Tolman...
on May 23d, 1863 both of Vinalhaven."
P. 187 is the record of the Banns published on May 18th 1862 for the above marriage of
George S. Carver and Elmira S. Tolman.
That's the sum total of George Carvers listed in the index for the island of
Vinalhaven, Knox County, Maine before 1892. With the different middle initials, it
doesn't seem George Allen Carver is in these particular Carver lineages.
These particular Carvers are descended from Robert Carver of Marshfield, Plymouth County,
Massachusetts.
Sarah and Abigail are very common female names for women among the descendants of Robert
Carver; siblings would use the same names for their offspring. You needs dates and
locations of birth and parents' names to figure out which is which.
