You wrote that "Willis's line goes through TN(robertson, sumner counties) and
Oklahoma (greer county)with some split off to Missouri which it looks like there may have
been some Carvers already in Missouri at that time."
Would you share some more of the information you have about that? Names, dates, and
places?
Thanks,
Fran

i am also looking for a verification of decendancy and parentage for a richard carver b.
abt 1764 of albermede. va. i have a record that shows his wife name was ann and she was
from pennsylvania but no documentation. my husband's line goes back to a Willis Carver
who is supposedly Richards son born in Pickens, SC. 1806. I have his decendancy documented
I do have documentation on some siblings, though i am not sure if the assignment to
Richard as the father is correct since he would have been quite a bit older when Willis
was born, I think the record I have might have skipped a generation or there was more than
one wife. Willis's line goes through TN(robertson, sumner counties) and Oklahoma
(greer county)with some split off to Missouri which it looks like there may have been some
Carvers already in Missouri at that time. There is also documentation of some of William
C. Carver's line (a sibling of Willis listed as being the child of Richard) that goes
through Raboun, Georgia.!
I would be happy to share any documentation I have on any of these
lines to interested parties. For the Georgia and Oklahoma connection, gravefinders website
has quite a bit of info on it. any info that would help clarify the link between richard
and willis or richard and james (i have richars father listed as a John Carver) would be
greatly appreciated.
