Thanks for the info.
Please let me know if you come across George Frank Caruthers, born 7 feb
1894,
Nichols, FL. He married Annie Mae Morris and had two sons, 5 jul 1918
and
31 dec 1919 in Oxford but was he was not with them in the 1920 Census.
Please post this to the Caruthers list for me.

I have a tie in with Caruthers in Sumter County back in the
1800's.
Georgia Ann Hall daughter of Celia Ann Caruthers, daughter of
JamesCaruthers and Elizabeth Hull: Celia married Joseph Hall and they
were the parents of Georgia Ann Hall who married my great grandfather
DavidAugustus Hall in Oxford, Florida in the late 1876. There are
several Caruthers listed in the family book of Emanuel Henry Martin,
grandfather of David, also. Most of these are in the 20th century.
I also just started a Caruthers/Carruthers rootsweb internet mail
list.
I hope to find out more about Caruthers by being on the list and
managing the list. You join the mail list free and members post
information on their Caruthers/Carruthers around the country or world.
I
also have an Allen and McDermitt mail list which as all rootsweb mail
list are completely free, you do not have to be a member of rootsweb
the
largest non-profit
internet genealogy organization in the world.
Ruby Velma Martin, married Ralph Caruthers 1917 at Wildwood. Ruby
was
born in Oxford and Ralph was a farmer and grove worker. They had
several
children, the list is too long
to write out now, and many grandchildren. The Martin Book ends in 1960
so it is somewhat
dated.
I have no idea if Georiga Ann Hall's mother is related to Ralph
Caruthers.
Rick Bullock my mother is a Martin whose father was born and
raised in Oxford.
