I, WILLIAM CARTWRIGHT of Pasquotank precinct, in consideration of the
full sum of thirty-nine pounds seventeen shillings and six pence to me
in hand paid, have sold to Jerri Murden of the same place, all my
plantation where I now live, containing two hundred acres, lying in
Pasquotank precinct, excepting one tract of land beyond the Beehive
Branch, and running up to the Cypress Swamp. Witness my hand and seal
