Thank you for the information, and I hope if there is anyone else who could
help I would greatly appreciate their input.
Grandparent, parents, sister, brother and my husband are all deceased. I
have no one who could give me information. If anybody can help with
information about the below, thanks.
Frances
P.S. This is all new for me.

Hi frances,
Here is my direct line which i have:
1. Mary Ann Cartwright (1888-1947) b.Leyburn, North Yorkshire, England.
2. Francis Cartwright (1854-1934) b.Brompton, North Yorkshire, England. -
married Mary Ann Nelson
3. Francis Cartwright (1808-1857) b.Thornton-le-Beans, North Yorkshire,
England. - married Isabella Hood
4. William Cartwright (c1771-c1837) b. 'unknown birthplace' - married
Hannah Metcalfe
have found William Cartwright in the Bishops (Durham) Transcripts, in and
around village of Thornton-le-Beans, North Otterington, North Yorks.
between 1800 and his marriage in 1806, however no trace of him before
1800. there was a lot of migration with farming communities in england
and he could have came to the area from any number of places within a 300
mile radius, with a name like William Cartwright it is almost impossible
to find him, plus records are not 100% accurate or complete so may miss
him out of the selection anyway.
Cheers Eddie.

Re: [CARTWRIGHT] Just wondering.................
Hi Eddie,
My name is Frances Cartwright Moore and my dad was Walter Cartwright, Sr.
His dad was James Edward Cartwright from around Camden or Pascotank
outside of Elizabeth City, N.C. I am just beginning and wondering if you
have any information on my granddaddy or connection to any of your family.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Frances
