Earliene,
Don't know if you are still interested in this, but thought I would pass it

MYFAMILY.COM - WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
<<<>>><<<>>><<<>>><<<>>><<<>>><<<>>><<<>>><<<>>><<<>>>
=======================================================
Since we started the
MyFamily.com sponsorship messages in the Daily News,
we've received many requests for more information about
MyFamily.com. Today
we will explore this revolutionary new site and find out a little more
about this exciting new service.
As families grow and move away from each other, it is often easy to lose
touch with those we love.
MyFamily.com offers a unique service to families
and other close-knit groups with a free, private place to share and
distribute family information on the Web. All information posted to
MyFamily.com pages is private and may only be accessed by password. This
means that you can choose who you want to trust with your family
information, and only those people that you invite will be allocated
passwords. Users can share personal information, family news, photos,
GEDCOM files, and other information that they might not want out in the
public domain with close family members, without fear of it falling into
the wrong hands.
WHAT RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE AT MYFAMILY.COM?

without requiring them to enter each member's email address.
~ Multi-Site Access-allows members to quickly switch between multiple
family sites.
HOW DO THEY PROVIDE THIS SERVICE FOR FREE?
The
MyFamily.com service will always be free. At the top of the page you
will notice several tabs that will take you to different pages on the
MyFamily.com site. The first tab is for MyFamily Site, which is where your
family data is featured.
The next tab takes you to the "News & Search" where your family news is
listed along with top stories from the national, international, business,
and sporting news. There is a weather section with the 5-day forecast for
your area, quotes from financial markets, a list of your favorite bookmarks
and a search engine to help you find other resources not listed on the page.
The "Resource" section lists a great selection of family oriented web sites
with topics ranging from education and health, to museums and zoos.
There is also a section for online shopping -- great for when those email
reminders of upcoming events catch you unprepared. These last three
sections, which feature unobtrusive banners and sponsorships are what keeps
MyFamily.com free to you and your family. We hope that you will visit these
sponsors' web sites and see what they have to offer.
Although each site is allotted 10 megabytes of space, if more space is
needed 10 megabytes of additional space may be purchased for the low price
of $20 per year.
