Obituary: McKEE Frank Merle, age 76 died Dec. 6, 1996 in Guthrie, Ok. He
was born Sept. 28, 1920 in Deer Creek near Edmond, to Floyd and Golda
McKee. He graduated from Deer Creek High School in 1939 and attended
Central State College. Mr. McKee served in the Air Force during WWII. He
married Vida Cartmill on Sept. 6, 1940 in Edmond, Ok. Mr. McKee worked for
Tinker Air Force Base until his retirement, he also was a homebuilder in
the Edmond area for many years. He lived all of his life in the Edmond
area. He was a past member of the Edmond School Board and a current member
of the Seward Road Baptist Church and a member of the Mason Lodge in
Edmond. His hobbies were enjoying golf. He is survived by his wife, Vida of
the home, 2 daughters, Judy Swanson and husband Gary of Edmond, Ok. Anita
Roach and husband David of Edmond, Ok, 5 brothers; Clarence McKee of
Piedmont, Ok. E.J. McKee of Tulsa, Ok. Warren McKee of Stockton, Ca.
Charles McKee of Okla City, Ok. Bill McKee of Alpinea, Ark. 1
brother-in-law Jack Cartmill of Edmond, Ok. 1 sister Edna Faye Hunter,
Tulsa, Ok. 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death
by his parents and 1 brother. Services are: 11:00 AM Monday December 9,
1996 at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel, interment at Gracelawn Cemetery in
Edmond, Ok.

Obituary: CARTMILL Jack E., age 79 of Edmond, Okla, was born July 15, 1917
in Edmond to Oliver and Mae Cartmill. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Air
Force serving in WW II. He was retired from Civil Service from Tinker Air
Force Base. He joined the Baptist church at an early age. Jack was also a
member of the I.O.O.F. and enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling and was
an avid O.U. sports fan. Jack passed away on June 28, 1997 in Okla. City.
Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Barbara Cartmill of
OKC, daughter and son-in-law, Collene and Gary Hastie of OKC, sister Vida
McKee of Edmond, grandchildren, Traci Chapin, Shawn Hastie and Celeste
Hastie, 4 great-grandchildren, Clrey, Zachary, Justin and Gaia. Services
are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 1997 at Baggerley Funeral
Home Chapel in Edmond with interment at Gracelawn Cemetery.

Obituary: CARTMILL Virgil F., age 77, passed away April 11, 1995 in
Spencer, Ok. He was born July 13, 1917 to Virgil Lee and Iva Pearl Cartmill
in Edmond, Ok. Virgil worked as a truck driver for Trans-Con. He married
Vivian Jewel Suenram in Edmond, Ok. on February 17, 1936. Virgil served in
the Navy in WWII. He was a member of the Baptist faith, a member of the
Road Runners Club (Trans-Con), American Legion Post 111 and VFW Post 4938.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian J. Cartmill of the home; three sons,
Clyde Cartmill of Edmond, Ok., Don Cartmill of Midwest City, Ok. and Jerry
Cartmill of Pekin, Illinois. He is also survived by one brother, Russell
Cartmill of Riverside, Ca.; seven grandchildren and four great
grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Midwest City Hospice. Services will
be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 1995 at Baggerley Funeral Home in
Edmond with interment at Gracelawn Cemetery.
