Kathy,
Can you believe we have been posting re this family since 2000 and have finally made a
solid connection! How wonderful!
I just received the marriage certificate for Eliza CARTLEDGE and Frederick FALKNER. I
would be happy to scan and send to you if you do not have it. I'm happy to share. No
sense both spending money for the same documents.
I recently joined the Lincolnshire mailing list and just this morning I received from some
kind person named Larrard a copy of a page from the NBI that lists a John CARTLEDGE who
died at age 52 and was buried at the Bourne Cemetery 13 Oct 1859. Perhaps this is Eliza
and Luke's father. I know you went to the cemetery in 1993, but since this burial was
so much earlier, could it have been in a different part of the cemetery than where you
visited? I found a website for the Bourne Cemetery:

Kathy, my e-mail is: csnkibbie(a)comcast.net
I have lots of questions. This morning I found your Charlotte E. FALKNER on the 1881
census, age 13, as a servant in the STOKES household (a young couple with 3 small
children, ages 3,2 and 6 m).
Please contact me off the board, too. Thanks - Char
