Hi All
Hopefully, someone will be able to help me with this. As I'm sure we all do
in our gen. searches, I've made a note on a scrap of paper sometime back.
Now, I've run across that note, and can't remember what I was going to do!
This is the info: Norman Zachariah Carter, 1870 Census, CD3, V3, 00. Worth,
Colquitt, Tift, Cook, Berrien. I know the counties are GA.
Could this be info off the Broderbund CD's I've been getting info on from
List members? Also, if any of you have these CD's -- could you look this
info up for me?????
I give thanks each day for rootsweb and these family lists!! And, for
cousins like Chuck Carter, who so patiently guide me along my path. I'm
sorry -- I've always been proud of my organizational skills --- until I began
genealogy. I'm learning to organize, but, there's so much to read and see --
and then, suddenly, before I know it -- my desk is piled with pages, bits, &
scraps of paper with info scribbled on them.
It's even harder to keep organized if, like me, you have common surnames on
both sides of your family tree!! So far, none of my common names are related
except by marriage -- maybe it would be easier if they were!
Thanks for any help. I'm determined to find my gg-grandparents - Carter and
??
