Just a concern. Wouldn't any and every fact be important to verify? If the
information isn't verified by something, how do you know if it's accurate? And
furthermore if it isn't accurate, you could end up researching people that
aren't even related!

To my knowledge, no one has ever checked out Dr. Miller's claim that
Joseph Carter of Spotsylvania married Catherine Stevens of King and Queen
County in 1719.
This fact is very important to verify.
This fact or non-fact is the crux of an argument by Elby Bowman that
Joseph Carter of Spotsylvania was not the son of CPT Thomas Carter Jr.,
but the son of William Carter, and this Joseph Carter married Catherine
Goodloe.
