Hi,
I'm about to ask a big favor... :-)
Would you all of those who have Carters in NC around 1800 - 1815,
please
check your data for an Isaac D. or V. Carter born about 1812 in NC.
He seems
to have crawled out from a rock or something and I need your help.
I'm not sure, but there might be some sort of relationship between
Isaac and
a James S. Carter, b. approx. 1800 he is found to be living very close
to my
Isaac in the 1850 Des Moines Co., IA Census.
Isaac married before the age of 20 to Eliz. Baker. They are listed in
the
1830 and 1840 Johnson Co., IN Censuses. They are listed in 1850, Des
Moines
Co., IA, and in 1860 and 1870 in Keokuk Co., IA. Isaac died in 1879,
Keokuk
Co., IA.
Thank you so much for looking for me!!!
Leanne
