I was just wondering how it was proven there was no issue? Sons were not
always named in wills due to primogeniture. And daughters--well, women in
those times often didn't count--and were not named in wills and especially
not in land transactions. Just wondering.

Hi Cousins,
Since I am fairly new to the list and have never posted by line, I will
do so now with documentation to follow in parts.
NOTE: While searching the CARTER-L ARCHIVE's I have noticed many
mentions of Giles' wife Hannah, being a CREW(E)(S), which is an ERROR! So
many researchers are repeating this information "as though it were fact,"
which it is NOT, it has been "proven" that James CREW(E)(S) did not
leave any ISSUE. Hopefully we can get the record straight for the
future researcher's trying to find their roots.
