Hello Carters,
I am a direct descendant of Rev. Thomas Carter of Woburn, Mass.
I am looking for more information about several of my Carters.
If anyone has any information I would appreciate a reply.
This (in part) how my family runs:
Rev. Thomas Carter of Worburn was a deacon or minister.
his son
Rev. Samuel Carter was a deacon or minister.
his son
Ephriam Carter lived in Lancaster, Mass and had a tannery there.
his son
Elijah Carter b. Feb. 21, 1764 - married Dec. 5, 1785 to Sally (Sarah)
Bridges, d. Feb. 2,1835 in Keene, N.H.
Elijah is listed in the Centennial Edition of the DAR Patriot Index as a
soldier from Massachusetts.
Question:
Does anyone out there know what Eliajh did for a living?
Does anyone out there know anything about Sally (Sarah) Bridges and her family
or where she is was from?
Does anyone know what rank Elijah held in the Revolutionary War?
Does anyone know if Ephriam did anything for the Revolutionary War through his
tannery, like donate leather?
Is anyone out there related to all of these folks?
Thank you very much for you help.
