Dear Cynthia:
A list member (Grady) kindly gave me the names of several CARTERs that
moved to AR, but I could find no Joseph in the right time frame.
I have Joseph CARTER in Faulkner Co AR from 1890 to 1896, when he died.
He was married to Mary Emma CARROLL and they had a child in 1891 and
another in 1896 - both born in Faulkner Co AR. I don't know where Joseph
(or his spouse) came from.
Perhaps even the migration route for the CARTERs that went to AR would
help.
Thanks
