Some of the Carters from Grayson County Kentucky moved to the Springfield
Illinois area, but I cannot connect them with yours. there are some buried in
Normal Illinois. if you can go backwards another generation I possibly can
connect them.

Hello! I am new to this list, so I thought I'd introduce myself
and give
you what I have on my Carter line, and see if anyone can help me fill it out
a little.
I started working on my family tree about a year ago, when I was given a
copy of the family tree my (still-living at age almost 100) put together for
her DAR application a long time ago. I took that tree, plugged it into
FamilyTreeMaker, got on the net, and haven't looked back!
Anyway, my Carters are as follows, and I would love to flesh out this
line...I've not had too much luck with it (the items with questions marks
are data taken directly from my ggmother's tree...she unfortunately did not
list any sources for her info...)
