Sherry,
The first number after the name is the age the transcriber copied from the
census records. The 1870 census did not record a birth date, only an age.
Following the age, is the TN County abbreviation and the page number of the
census, e.g., CL-328 means the Claiborne County, TN census page 328.
The TN county abbreviations below are: H = Hamilton, CL = Claiborne, HU =
Humphreys, SN = Sumner, J = Jackson, GE = Greene.

Hi and thank you so much for responding to my listing. I
wouldn't have
any
idea if one of these could be a match or not. I was told once that they
thought his middle name was Franklin if that would be of help I take it
the
letters other than the B is the file that these Benjamin's are
found under?
Were there any dates with these as to when the census was taken? That
might
help??? Any help is so greatly appreciated here.
Thank you
Sherry Carter Daniels
