Elaine you have posed some good questions. I don't know anything about the
Jimmersons. There is a listing of this cemetery on findagrave, and James
Carter is the only Carter listed. It is probably an incomplete list.
I'll look into the Jimmersons.
Thanks!

Subject: Re: [CARTER] Jimmerson Cemetery, Navarro County
Have you found the cemetery on a map? If it is in the adjoining county to
his children, how does the location compare to the area where his known
family lived? County lines don't always mean much.
I suppose from the name that the cemetery was a family site. Have you found
a connection with a Jimmerson family? Could one of his children have
married a Jimmerson, or did he have a second wife who was related to them?
Do you know where the Jimmersons lived before Texas, and if so does it
match?

I'm searching for my 3rd grandfather, James Carter, born around 1819 in GA.
He was last heard of living in 1850 Ouachita Parish Louisiana. His children
were in Texas on the 1870 McLennan County census. But can't find out what
happened to him.
